You won't be getting that anytime soon, because the amount of work that would take to remodel all the current gear for a race with a completely different bodyshap would be astronomical. SE is too lazy to even make sure current races with special features don't clip with even new gear as they make it, so there's no way they'd be willing to put the sort of time and effort and money into a project like that. And even if they were, I'm sure we'd all prefer they fix the current clipping issues first.

I don't like it either, but I don't see it changing anytime soon.

To say they're that important, I dunno, but most of the time I choose my cloths according to the measure of my body, same in the game, I won't use boyish look which looks fine on other races to my roe because of the different build
and since I usually wear more pants I kinda want to look more... normal, but what the game lacks is more maybe more racial fitting clothes and more feature for the chara maker the proof is right below you.

How does this make what I said irrelevant? Because Square Enix's artists sexualize Minphilia that means emphasizing butts isn't shallow and perverted? And it means butts are important? I'm not understanding.

A non-human race doesn't have to lose the humanoid body shape. See: Khajiits, Argonians, Sylvari, Worgen (females more than males). To make a bestial race you just need a fur or scale texture and alter the face/hands to represent whatever beast they're inspired by. The most extreme alteration they would have to account for is digitigrade feet, which they could just choose to use plantigrade instead.

I'd love for the new content to actually be new, and not re-coated old content. New game mechanics, strategies....you know, creativity? This game had it once.

I don't want it. Every new race they add to the game means two more models they'll have to work on for every equipment. I'd rather have them use their time to develop something more important.
