if you have an ideaology of classes most/least then you sir are a made out of fail, basically this game is *not* your typical ffxi where most classes are not needed like *wing of the goddess* new classes. long story short they are not used/needed in endgame.i wish by releasing patch 1.20 ability's will be fix/adjusted
and not follow the same fail ffxi took.

When the Darkhold first came out, people thought that it was going to be the situation Bear, mentions: That only ARC, CON and GLA would matter in the whole game forward. But Ifrit actually took all the classes that the Darkhold spurned and turned them into essentials. Same with Crafting and Gathering after 1.19. Materia made these classes a whole lot more popular. Even traditional necessary classes like CON will be altered significantly after the addition of jobs.
The game is growing and changing. No one should pick a few classes and get comfortable.
If my server is any indication, Lancers are the most under-represented, but Gladiators are usually most in-demand (because reliable ones are hard to find.) The thing is, SE has switched up the roles and responsibilities a lot as of late and suddenly CNJ and MRD are in the spotlight again.

Just because a class is overpowered (Archer) doesn't mean you need to make it completely useless in 90% of situations.
Instead, you do one of two things.
1. Keep it at the same power, but raise Enmity generated so the the player has to manage hate so he doesn't get killed.
or
2. Buff other classes so they are able to keep up.
All classes should be able to shine, some better than other obviously, but alienating a certain class is NOT okay.

Also, mages still suck for anything but being healbots or DoTspammers.
Why is ancient magic still useless? Why don't Tier II nukes do decent damage for how much MP they use? Why nerf Cure/Sacrifice but keep their ridiculously high MP cost?
Why does Shadowsear hit Ifrit for 100 damage?
Does SE even test this stuff before they release it?
People stacking 1 class to is pretty dumb. They should actually try to balance the damage dealing classes so they are comparable to each other.

On the contrary, ive seen a ton of lancers, seems to be one of the most overpopulated jobs.
