The "we want everything handed to us free with no gameplay nor effort"-generation. I'd add 5million XIII consumers to that group as well.

On the positive side I think game design is reaching the peak of brain-deadness and players are starting to want more involving experiences like they used to have. It seems like exploration and player freedom are becoming trendy words again for future games. I'd call the past decade in gaming as a bit of a growing pains stage where a lot of new ideas were tried without using the experience of the game development of past 30 years. Now that the apple-puberty is coming to an end I hope the only way from this soccer-mom hell is up =)
