Moving Mission Items to Key Items

I don't know how many people have or have not said anything about this but why do items like atmas, luminous crystals, unidentified items, beastmen fate drop items, alexander drops, hunt mark logs, chocobo feathers, e.t.c. aren't kept in the key items tab. I mean I can understand things like alexandrite and ventures not being there but why are items like the others kept in my inventory. It really takes up space after a while. Even things like the Zodiac Glass were kept in my inventory space instead of key items.

I mean gathered maps start in my inventory instead of being in my key items. Which for most isn't a problem because that means you can have more than the max of 1 in your inventory. But I feel like they should stack and not kept to a one item stack. The map thing doesn't bother me nearly as much as the beastmen drops and tokens or the luminous crystals/atmas.

    This is a riddle.^^

I just can imagine they forget about the key item section in parts of the development team. The dungeon team knows about it (Neverreap has items in the key item section). It seems all other parts of the development team are trying to avoid this section of inventory. But wy get we 75 space of inventory for key items we will never get? Or did i just missinterpreting the UI and we can only have like 10-20 key items and the rest is just to fix it on size?

I mean, I wouldn't have even thought about it too much until I started using the extended inventory option. There's three tabs for it, 75 slots and all I have are my mark lists if I don't do them, my aether compass, and an animus book I haven't done in forever. It just gets me.
