Severe lag and connection issue after maintenance

As per title,me and few other players were experiencing the above-mentioned issues while playing the game especially in Alexander Savage yesterday.

It's pretty ridiculous that we actually have to pay extra for VPN services on top of the subscription fee in order to play the game optimally.

Guess SE doesn't mind losing a few subscribers as it's more or less an isolated issue.

If a VPN solved your problem, then it's not SE's fault, it's your ISP's. A VPN just alters the connection path between your machine and SE's servers and tunnels through the internet itself. If it were actually an issue on SE's end (either their own infrastructure or ISP), then you'd notice the same lag regardless if you were using a VPN or not.

I'd recommend checking your own modem and/or complain to your ISP.

Actually,there are a few VPN users i know who experienced the same issue after maintenance.For some reason they refuse to post anything here as they feel that it's futile to do so.

But see, you didn't say that in your original post. Your wording makes it sound like that the game plays flawlessly on a VPN but not normally, as per the sentence

That being said, if you and other VPN users are having issues regardless of the VPN tunnel being active or not, then yes I'm inclined to agree that the problem may stem on SE's end. If so, I recommend posting your info to this thread so you can help SE determine where the problem may lie.

Yeah,guess i was being a little bit incoherent there.If what you said is actually true then Southeast Asia is cursed with bad isp.Almost everyone i know is using some sort of tunnel services and even that won't alleviate the issue sometimes.

Also,that thread is for NA Data Center.I'm playing on JPN Data Center.I did send them an email and hope that they'll reply soon.
