Get rid of vote abandon

But what I'm saying is that unless it's changed, one person initiates and one person votes yes and the other votes no and it still passes. I haven't vote dismissed someone outside of offline players since around the time it was added, so I could be wrong. I don't really want to try it out when I do roulettes with a friend later because that's mean. >_>

Edit: Never mind, I'm dumb. I guess the person you're kicking wouldn't be number 4 since they don't get to vote. I really shouldn't forum right after I wake up or at 2am.

Your vote doesn't matter in a 4-man party if the other person voting selected Yes. The reason for this is because that's 66% of the party voting yes (Initiator + 1 vote yes vs. a single no/abstain)

Both members would have to vote No to prevent the vote from going through.

the vote kick and abandon are the least of the things that should be introduced in a game along of it of course the penalty. You can leave if you dont like something nothing forbids you to do it,why kick someone else ? beceause he is not like you? ESPECIALLY if you are going to abandon right after because nobody filled the ranks eh? THIS is stupid

This is the problem with mmos built around dungeon finders. With this game having a huge number of bads with such easy content, a lot of people are going to vote abandon. I personally don't see this happen often but I'm sure someone else has this happen to them a lot.

Either make friends, go in with a group made in PF or suck it up and queue up again.

While I will agree the vote abandon and vote kick features are imperfect, but they are VASTLY preferable to the alternative of these features NOT existing. When I'm in a dungeon and it ends early due to abandon, I just suck it up and requeue. As a damage dealer, waiting the 30+ minutes is really no different than taking a penalty in the first place.

They could do it like they did Diadem, remove the vote to abandon thing all together and force a 30 min reenter penalty to everyone the moment you enter.
AFTER 30min have passed from the time of entry point you can reenter any duty.
Once change would be: If you complete the duty successfully timer resets.

So for example, if you beat a full dungeon in 5 minutes, you wouldn't have a penalty you can reenter a new dungeon ASAP.
If you don't beat a dungeon and leave, you have 30 min before you can enter a new one from the time you first entered.
If you run a dungeon for 30min upon entry, and abandon you get 0 Penalty. If you leave it 5 min from entry, you get a 25 min penalty.

No, from what you've posted, what it sounds like is that you want the system crafted and catered to your liking, your benefit only. I hear more people complain about being held hostage, than vote abandon spam.

I'd rather they just increase the timer for raids and leave everything else the same. I shouldn't have to take a 30 minute timer, or be stuck with terrible players, all for the sake of you getting what you want from a raid, and neither should anyone else. Lol.

I can throw the 30m timer thing right back at you, so I'd prefer it just be left out because it's a ridiculous argument.

I'm sorry, but what is this "being held hostage" crap? You have the option to leave. Sure, you'll have to find something better to do with your time for 30 minutes, which honestly is not hard.

If a full group agrees to vote abandon, that's fine. But if someone is going to keep spamming abandon, they should just suck it up and leave. And don't bother begging me to kick you from party because most likely it will not happen (with some exceptions for those who aren't dicks about it).
