Unable to switch certain classes

Steps:
1. Open Character Menu and Click Gear Set List.
2. If Set List have the above classes, select class and press Equip Set.
3. Error message pops up "Unable to change classes. Insufficient Armoury Chest space."
*Note: Same issue occurs when manually switching the item for that certain class.
**Note: Discarding and re-buying the class item works at first, then is unable to switch with Gear Set List or Manually equipping the item.

EDIT: To answer the bottom players question, all of the armory are not full. The max on each are 25, i had some on 24/25 but i have gotten it down to 22/25 on each armory set and I still get that error, mostly on leatherworker from what i noticed.

Can you list how many items are in each tab of your armoury chest when this occurs?

E.g

Body:
Gloves:
Etc.

When this happens to me its usually because my armoury chest is full. Switching some things to inventory fixes it. Rings tend to fill up quick.

24/25 rings will cause that error. It's not a bug it's just bad design on the part of the armoury system but yeah, start sending gear to inventory or your retainer until you're at or under 23 rings and 24 everything else and that will resolve your issue.

^^^ Yeah I've already done that, like i mentioned I have all of them on 22/25 and still occurs.

Is it only happening on specific classes?

Do the affected classes share any gear?

Have you tried removing a different single piece of equipment, from your leatherworker gearset for example, place it in your inventory each time then saving the gearset and switching back to it? Process on elimination to see if there is a specific gear slot causing it.

^^ Yes i have done that, even discard items and buying them again, still occurs

Have you tried deleting the gearsets? either in game or in the game files C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\FFXIV_CHR\GEARSET.

I've had it on occasion & I have to set up a new gear set. Usually it's due to there not being at least 2 empty ring slots but if you say you've got all armoury slots with at least 3 empty spaces then it can't be that.
