Map issues - at a loss now!!!

This might sound stupid and insulting but.. is your screen resolution messed up and the map is hiding off screen somewhere? In the picture it looks like some words are going off the screen..

Just a random thought that probably has no relevance, but have you tried resetting the resolution on your playstation? You mentioned the X, Y coords being slightly off so maybe that is the cause?

Is your map transparency set to 100%?

If its not that then try this;
Create a new character, if works on that character its your system/character settings.

Check your settings again, try restoring them to default on tabs that have map options in character and system settings.

If you still cant find a fix it could possibly be corrupt character data.
I dont know how the save data is organised on a ps4 but see if you can find a file for your character data and delete that it may fix. Be warned it will delete all your personal configurations, hotbars, ui, gear sets, macros etc. So back it up first. It will not delete your character.


If that does not work, there is a corruption.
You've already tried a reinstall and that didnt work, all you can do is try again or wait for a reply from SE.

Savvy - no not insulting at all, will try ANYTHING lol! Have fiddled with the screen resolution on the PS4 and TV, to no avail, but I will look at it again tomorrow!

Warlyx - haha thanks, yeh its hard without it - I just have my iPad next to me when in game, and google the maps!! Far from ideal, but its better than nothing lol!!

Yeah, um.... Map Transparency at 100% means it's completely transparent... aka... invisible.
