Also it's not a true teleport like others say. It essentially turns your character invisible, and moves you to the location at 300% speed while letting your model either ignore (by passing through), or to move around obstacles (in the case of short things like rocks).

Yes but not all classes have the same abilities. There are plenty of people that only level one class out there.

Like others have said to be flashy and make you feel like you are a Ninja which is why we also have the pointless mobility traits and hide. It still has to be bound by gameplay laws.

System/game limitations because they couldn't make it a traditional teleport, and instead made you just go "really fast" instead.. The same deal happens with aetherial movement and DRG jumps; they're all effected by terrain elevation and obstacles (when reality it shouldn't, especially in regards to DRG jumps)

That would be OP and unfair to the other classes. I'm glad the game doesn't allow this.

Why is that? Do all classes have to be homogenized to be "fair" according to you?

If someone wants to intentionally hamstring themselves by only leveling a single class in this game, they shouldn't really be getting upset that other people can do things they cannot.
