What if we had branching class quests?

As I was doing some Lancer quests I started thinking: "What if we had the option to join Foulques and learn his style of Lancer?" Or taking up Pawah Mujuuk's offer during the Archer quest line? You could possibly learn their unique abilities and/or have slight variations of the skills we currently have.

Short answer yes...

Long answer:
I would love to have my BRD drop all raid utility (mp/tp battery) for increased atk on weapon and a different dps stance than WM. In other words go from archer to hunter. I wouldn't even mind having to actually level up hunter from 30 to 60 if there was a whole new skill set involved. I would even love this for mch that will allow you to be a gun slinger or sniper.

I would love to see a WAR become a dps beast or PLD become a real Duel Wielding dps. I can dream....

So much that. Those were my pretty much my thoughts on Archer through out my time with 2.0. An alternate path leading towards Hunter or Ranger would have added much needed flavor.
