I posted elsewhere about a use for HQ Prisms.. mine was for converting gears into ilev 1 glamours that could then be stored in the armoire.

i would still rather not. it looks kinda out of place.
especially in areas where people tend to crowd around. take idlyeshire for example around Rowena or the quicksand on balmung. you could go around not noticing the faint dark knight aura until they all crowded around together and a massive ugly cloud of red farts started getting thicker and thicker.
same thing would happen with glitter. even faint. you will have 30 or so pretty glittery princesses all gathered around so everyone and their mothers can see them shine.

you are talking about an aura/glow, with the sparkle, it won't be a constant flashing of white dots, it would be faint quick pixels on your screen every so often

making it unnoticeable kinda kills the point of having it though.
kinda why glitter was invented to ya know. highlight in an obnoxious way. to make yourself or an object more noticeable.
it draws the attention of the eye because you are sparkling :/
and to alot of people it might just end up being a big eyesore that when released EVERYONE will sparkle until they get bored of it.

did you read any other comments?
Glitter was invented to highlight things in an obnoxious way? Dude have you had some kind of tragic experience with sparkle in the past?
Is this really so eye gougingly horrifying that you can't bear to look at it because I'm obviously attention seeking and being obnoxious by having a sparkly texture on my clothes?

It doesn't look too bad on a dress, but I have a feeling it would look downright hideous on armour. I think the problem is that they would either put random sparkles of the same colour on armour, making some, if not most clothing look downright awful in it, or specifically work on the sparkle setting on each piece of clothing which would be a waste of development time on such a minor thing.Glitter was invented to highlight things in an obnoxious way? The screenshots provided are nice but what i had in mind was like the sparkle that happens when you do the Manderville pose but more faint
and it wouldn't take the entire company to make just a group of 2-3 tops
I am pretty sure the OP was talking about a non lingering sparkle, but that's pretty hard to photoshop onto a picture without it looking really weird.. I was just trying to calm down the hate from the little one in here throwing a fit about how everyone was going to be standing around like glowing neon signs. There's a million other things that should take priority over something like this, but to be so over the top about it is ridiculous. It doesn't look too bad on a dress, but I have a feeling it would look downright hideous on armour. also its not like I'm saying it needs to be in the game this instant, it's just an idea that's not much different to what they have already put in the game before![]()
