I would spam my abilities, but do any of our moves grant us the ability to become invincible, constantly make them lose target on us, do massive damage to the entire group of enemies, able to spam it with a constant invigorate-like ability. I don't see anyone with tp attacks that effective. The only thing I'd expect of this is they let mobs adjust themselves (kind of like FFVIII) otherwise..this dulls down gameplay for those who play with groups..it would be painfully dull if a mob only used 1 TP move a battle or a boss never uses a TP move till it's about to die.
From what I've noticed, it's just certain families that have different TP rates (ignoring bosses, which it makes sense) but like players, if you're getting beat down you'd do your best to spam moves, wouldn't you?
A bunch of nannygoats actually forced me to cancel their leve because they knocked me back completely out of the leve range and I got the "Levequest Abandoned" message. Nannygoats are currently the strongest mob in the game I feel because of how fast/hard they hit and how strong/annoying their weapon skill is. All other "hard" monsters (imps, gnats, fachans) got nerfed while goats somehow slid under the radar. The only monster I have serious trouble killing post-1.19 are goats.
Point of the matter: All. Goats. Must. Die.
EDIT: I have noticed what other people have said in that once they START using their weapon skill.. they will use it back to back to back to back to... you get the point.
Also, I'd just like to say that if they do chose to reform monster TP I do not want it to be like XI. I don't want the fast hitters (PGL, dual wielding jobs, etc) to be kicked to the side with the excuse "You feed too much TP". I hated hearing that in XI so much and hope I never hear someone ever tell me that in XIV.
