The spells seem unaspected, but closer to Astral, the cards however have an elemental affinity that is represented by the symbols or their association with the Twelve

• The Balance: Fire, Sun Symbol, Orange
• The Bole: Earth, Tree Symbol, Green
• The Spear: Ice, Snowflake, Blue
• The Arrow: Wind, a gust of wind with an arrow, Light Blue/Green (The held buff has a different color from the drawn buff and the effect itself)
• The Spire: Lightning, Thunderbolts, Yellow
• The Ewer, Water, a Vase, Blue/Cyan

On a side note, The Balance and the Spear seem to derive their elemental affinities from those of the twelve that they are related to. In which case the Balence gets its name from Nald'Thal (Life, Death, and the Checkbooks, all relate to balance) but the symbol form Azayma (Associated with the Sun.). The Spear likewise takes after Halone's association (Her worshipers being, the city-state that prominently uses Lance-wielders) and Menphina (Moon versus Sun, and given a certain poem, Moon vs. Star)


There are of course other associations naturally, but these 2 seem to be the most notable in their motifs being derived from the twelve more so than other cards. (And before anyone asks Yes I know all the cards are related to the Twelve)


As for the actual topic, I think it's safe to say that the attacks themselves are elementally unaspected. But seems close to the astral Pole than Umbral
