Name change conundrum [Name Swa]

Hello, I'm unsure if this question has been asked before, if it has I apologise.

Currently i have Two characters, one is level 60 and the other is 20 and i wish to swap their names around. as far as the current system goes it states that

• You cannot choose your character’s current name when using this service.
• We cannot guarantee that your preferred name will be available for selection.
• You cannot choose a name that is currently in use by another character on the same World.

So my question being, Can I swap the name of character (for simplicity sake) A to character B.

If it's not possible, the only solution i can think of is
Change character A's name to C
Change character B's name to A
Then change C to B's name

ALSO, what is the cooldown period for the name change?

Unfortunately it's not possible to directly swap two character names so you'd have to do the swap three times, paying for each.

You can only change a name once per day (I don't know whether this is 24 hour period or calendar day).

I am uncertain though if there is a delay on the old name being released so you can use it again. Sorry this is only partial answers!

Thanks WorldofNeil for the reply, i thought my plan of paying for each would be the only way to do it, which is acceptable, I'd been hoping for another way but no worries.

I'd assume this was 24hrs from the time of purchase.

with my idea confirmed That's what I truly want to know, if there's a Delay of say, 2 hours, 24 hours, a week. I know some game tend to keep your old name reserved in a kind of "backup pool" for quite some time. yet I can't find this info here.

What I know so far to recap.

Will need to pay 3 times for name change
24 hrs between each purchase. (Possibly from time of purchase)
