simple cosmetic request - matt lipstick pls!

A matte option would be nice. I generally use lip colour and other make up on my characters to give their faces an illusion of features that I want (and a slight differentiation of lip and skin colour). Without the gloss it works out, but with it, it becomes too much.

Adding another option is most likely not going to happen. Character data and all that stuff.

Anyway, I thought many times about how annoying this was, so yes, at the very least it would be a good idea if it could be improved (fixed?) so that it looks more consistent.

How about making the lip color more vibrant, my cat wants a brighter pink, one of my alt-cats wants an actual red, not a brick red, not a shade of maroon, but a real, vibrant red. No problem here with the gloss, though I can see why a slider that goes from matte to gloss would be nice.

Also, major upvotes for fixing how the lighting interacts with lip-color, and fixing how the lip color interacts with the underlying skintones and base color of the lips when applied 'light', and finally can we please increase the color saturation when you apply the lip color 'dark'? Or perhaps they mean for the shade to be darker, in which case let's add a third option to dark and light, called rich, and crank up the color saturation

I liked ARR beta lipstick better. It was appeared on your character the same way the current "face paint" does. But people complained that the lip borders were too messy and they changed it :/ oh well
