What I'd actually rather like to see is some sort of reference to eorzea or XIV in general in KH3. There are already final fantasy main title characters in KH universe, so why not some eorzean representation.

Kinda related to what you're saying but I've always wanted someone like Shantotto to be working Yen Sid, they seem like the perfect duo.
I doubt we'd ever get an MMO final fantasy character in KH.

This is actually untrue, SE can do what they like with the original characters and designs, but they cannot make references to anything disney related without disneys consent. The opposite of what you said is in fact true, which is why there is only a minor reference to KH in disneyland tokyo (or was, I dont actually know if it is still there). There is no real reason right now to have KH stuff in game anyway(and tbh it doesnt fit all that well), but I would love to see a FFXIV x KH3 event in the future (shadow minion anyone?)
