Same thread, Same answer.
Or maybe people can learn you can't get everything your way. Not Always Right exists because of this.

inb4 more people crying sexism just like in the last 3 threads about this

Its not so beyond the pale for a society, particularly one so deep in traditions as the vanu vanu, to come up with different versions of the same thing for men and women, I don't remember anyone being up in arms over the coatees...just chalk it up to vanu vanu culture and move on.
Why is there a difference? The dance looks extremely awkward without the legs bent, and it's terribly underwhelming when compared to what the Vanu Vanu look like when they do it. I know it's purely an aesthetic choice, but I feel this kinda ruins the dance for female PCs.

I won't bother with your dance until bunny ears can be used for males.
Or maybe the better answer is, go fantasia as male of you want better dance. (Holding the salt shield)

Ka Panapana, one of the dance variations where women have a more visible role.
Here's another vid of both genders, again women are moving less and have their legs closed. Yet, their passion rivals the men's.

Here's another one. It's a competition so I'm assuming the dancers are somewhat competent. The women stand in the back lines and perform their own version.

Can we put this topic to rest now?
By the way, that dance is amazing... I've spent half an hour watching different performers and it's giving me the chills.Nice reference, SE.

The dance for women does look boring compared to the male variant. I don't see much cause for complaint, though; you have the option to perform the dance. I think it's important that everything has an equivalent for both genders, if not the exact same. Glamours are still in a worse position.

if everything was the same it would be damn boring , just saying :P
