20/20/14/13 without grinding alex nm for more than maybe 5 items in total so far. Beasties, coil and ex poe bonuses, daily roulettes - my plan is finishing it off by end of the month.

I am at a similar level as you, at 20/20/17/13, this is through beastribes, daily maps, daily roulettes and i think i am now at 6-7 tokens from alexander. Getting a weapon through doing usual daily stuff is quite nice, but i think people need to understand this is a long term goal .

The only grind i may do is over the next few days just to get it completed.

I'll prob get a couple of more items from alex simply because I've gotten a few tokens already. Also I do dragonskin maps for a chance of ore - think I got 3 so far from just that.

But I really enjoyed helping out people with coils and ex primals - and I do mean help - I don't care if we do it sync I'll join and help out, I won't leave in case of a wipe and such like others - but it really shows who in the community is willing to help out for the sake of helping vs I'm just here for the poe. Met quite a few toxic people over the weeks sadly.

Any game will burn you out if you play/grind it to much for most people, I've already said it before. i finished the relic by simply doing my dailies / Tribe quests and grind some alex and do some maps.
People just need to complain when they feel something takes to long, Well in that case i've some wonderful news for you, Cancel your subscription or just ignore the quest, come back in a few months and they'll nerf it.

Its all falls down to how you do the grind. There is more then just capping tomes to get the items. You got beast tribe quests, Alex normal and hunts.

Now if you want to go down the tome road then for Poetics the fasts and easiest way to get tomes is to arrange with your FC or a few friends to do Coil carries. In 20 mins I got like 400 tomes by carrying a friend through Coil 1-5 *skiping 3 as it doesn't give reward.

Honestly, the unidentified item grind is the easiest relic step to make progress on since basically ever.
Excepting treasure maps, there's no RNG involved anywhere.
Excepting hunts and a few specific beast tribe quests, there's no having to wait around for something to happen.
There's no requirement to do any specific content.
There's no requirement to do anything on the actual job you're getting the weapon for.
Very nearly every kind of endgame content has you make progress toward the relic.

Note that I said "easy" and not "quick". I for one am fine with thinking of this as a long term goal that I can work toward and get there when I get there. If people burn themselves out grinding something repetitive because it's theoretically the fastest possible way to get there, that's their own problem.

My main problem is that we are doing this stuff unsynched and therefore there is no challenge whatsoever. I would like to see poetic bonuses for synced parties having to do with a future relic step. Also, all of you are wasting your time on this relic. It will likely get nerfed soon and you will never get that time back in life. I'm unsubbed currently because I'm waiting for 3.2. This relic grind is one of the worst ideas in SE history and it shows they have no new content so that put this crap up for now.

Disagreed. Do roulettes daily, nothing more. If you're not striving for A4s what use is this weap anyways? My static stopped raiding alex so I could care less about gears right now. If in fact one IS on the way to an A4S clear, relic also irrelevant. Get Alex weap.

I already got 15/80 items from doing some roulettes with friends. Not hard.

My plan: Get tome bow in 3.2. Aim to have relic complete by the time the next relic quest lands( 3.25?, when this bow will actually be relevant for me again IF I am back to raiding )
