Also Belias is part of the ARC quests if im not mistaken. Sadly, no respect was shown to espers in this game, and even if it should be probably the final enemy of the enemy lets say, in 10 years more, i doubt much respect is going to be made to Zodiark too, and the rest of the espers share a similar end. In fact, even when "lore potentially ruined" Cuchulainn recived a very very nice treatment... Better than Zalera.

We actually already have one of the Lucavi.

You might remember Queklain (the very first one you fight--the Cardinal, whose name I can't remember). Queklain is a poor transliteration of Cuchulainn (which was corrected in the War of the Lions translation), who we find wiping nine out of ten alliances in the Void Ark. I believe he's showed up in other FF titles as well (FF6 maybe—I only played that one once).

But I can't lie, the first thing I thought of when I saw Yoshi's screenshot was Belias/Velius from FFT, too.

The fact that Cu Chulainn is from a 24-man encounter, he's not getting that bad treatment.
If you compare them with Primals being 4-man or 8-man, Cu Chulainn is being treated better.
