Gear set, how to sync to different PC

I play FFXIV in two different PC's, I'm tired of copy pasting the gear set file here and there.
So the lazy person inside me is tired and I'm trying to find a program to auto sync the file i want.
I tried searching for apps but i didnt find the same as what i wanted.

I'm sure someone is doing this job but shy to talk. It's the perfect time to speak, go on.

Maybe you can share the folder through cloud? Clouds are all the rage these days.

I´am in quite the same situation, but am confident with copying the 2 Files once in a while, cause I don´t have so much change going on, and after upgrading and reinstalling windows, i was too lazy to setup the folder links.

What you are looking for are symbolic links to a online drive like Google Drive/Dropbox/One Drive.

Make the Document folder part of your home network.

copy the entire folder onto your new machine and it'll transfer gearsets hud layouts chat filters everything

Here's what I did:

I setup a dropbox account and made a folder called "My Games".

I then MOVED my "Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn" into that new "My Games" folder.

I went back and recreated a new folder in "My Documents\My Games" and called it "Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn".

I copied/pasted the following files from the dropbox folder into the FFXIV folder:

FFXIV.cfg
FFXIV_BOOT.cfg
*.dat (these are the saved character creation files)

I then made a batch file with the following lines:

Saved it. Ran it inside the My "Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn" folder.

I had to do the setup file on each machine with the copy and paste but now if I logout of one machine, I can startup the other and after DropBox syncs have my saved items.

The only issue is that the HUD setup doesn't quite lineup if you have different resolutions. The sad part is SE is unable to sync to PS4 for some reason. It's not valid because if you stored everything as JSON you could sync between any device and have the code on that device be responsible for it. I would LOVE to switch between PS4 and PC but I can't easily.
