Worse still, you wait the 20-30 minutes and it still doesn't pop, still saying the same time estimate while you continue to wait.

Its like square has a goal of chasing everyone out of their pvp by making it contain the MAXIMUM amount of friction to even participate

I hope so, PVP is the only thing that interests me right now. I was bored after 5-6 Void Ark runs, but I'm sitting at ~100 matches and still not burnt out.

A lot of people on my server that I've talked to seem interested in pvp but are more focused on their relic grind at the moment.

If only SE would implement a way to spend wolf marks for relic materials cough

Yeah the new relic greatly affected ques. Also they have shown they don't care about ques. Player base has asked for fixes back in 2.3 (July 2014). We have gotten one, match does not need to fill fix. Thank god. Those were fun times 71/72 to just start over and one live letter comment. If we remove Grand Companies people might cheat. Wolves den also has a hidden rank counter that is why when you see them post for fight nights they ask for rank 50s. So the system doesn't get screwed by the rank counter.

Something happened with the introduction of 3.05 or thereabouts that ruined PVP queues for me. They just never seem to pop.

well there is only some many servers, and to add that quest are kind of on a rotation so once you get in, it picks up and que's are quite shorter.

In addition, it feels like they hard turning 8V8.

Queue times are long as hell since the relic dropped and when I finally get a pop its a 8v8v8 vs either the flame ultros or leviathan premade. Boring as hell.

Also I guess I shouldn't be surprised that SE didn't include PvP in the list of options of the relic's final step. I'm used to being disappointed by them.

Queue times have been great on my data center for Twin Adders on peak times. 2 days ago I managed to get 3 matches all with just 3-5 minutes wait time before a round started at around 2AM my time, 12AM Japan time (Monday 28th of December). Is it all GCs have long wait times in NA servers?

It depends on the time you play, prime time it's no wait at all (1-5 minutes) and at off-peak it's 30 minutes to 75minutes depending how off peak it is
