    Thank you for giving us long FATE wait times again.

    Dear FF14 team,

    I'm here at >Southern Thanalan (32,21), for the 6 day in a row, waiting for a FATE just so I can get a bit of progress on my relic.
    Since I have to wait a lot I decided to tell you how I feel about having to do these FATE daily beast tribe quests again.

    I honestly thought I would not have the need to do these FATE quests ever again, never have I've been so wrong.


    You FF14 team decided to recycle old content and to make it relevant again, which is fine, yet you seem to have forgotten how annoying and consumer "unfriendly" these FATES where.
    People have to sit where they pop-up, for minutes waiting for the FATE, some fall asleep while doing so, some go to the toilet (can miss the FATE while doing so) and some start working on their Gundam kits instead of playing the game, only to finish one "daily" beast tribe quest.

    Oh! and let's not forget to mention the poor souls that are riding their chocobos to hurry and try to get some participation on the FATE they need that just popped, yet they can't manage to even hit it because X players where already there waiting for minutes if not a good hour and killed the FATE boss on sight.

    Then, on some occasions, the insults start ... "why didn't you wait you *** ", " why weren't you already here you *** " and so on.

    But ofc some of you will tell me that there are other ways to get the Relic tokens, other dailies one can do, dungeons are faster anyways and even 2.0 Hunts are not that bad how many of us though they would be.

    Yes you are right, yet some of us want to do 12 quests, fast, to go and do all those other things that you've mentioned.

    Yet, SE could have made our lives less ... annoying by simply having reduced the spawn times of these "daily beast tribe quests".


    To those who've read all this, thank you and to SE, please make these waiting times shorter or my shelf will be full of Gundams.

    TL;DR :: SE please reduce the pop cooldown on those daily beast tribe quests FATEs we have to deal with everyday. Thank you.

    Confirmed in LL that they are getting adjusted. Strange that they were adjusted in the past, but not anymore, except for one daily FATE (The Miner in the Mirror which is up almost all the time), but that one is a tier 2 daily.

    I don't even bother camping these anymore, I waited one for an hour before giving up. I just do these FATEs whenever they are up when doing other dailies, so I always have an item to spare when that quest pops. Boar Wars and Quenching the Flame are still elusive, though, boar has been up twice and I missed it the first time, the latter has never been up.

    Does it matter that they've confirmed on the LL that it will be adjusted ? Well it's good they'll adjust it but for me it's more a question about why didn't it got adjusted the moment they've released the Anima Relic quests ?

    Your suggestion about doing these Fates on sight is true, it helps, if you see the FATE that is.

    It's not like the issue should have been a surprise or something. They've had FATE quests in the past and we've already gone over (repeatedly) the fact that if they're going to require a particular FATE, that FATE should either spawn frequently or be one that can be triggered to spawn when needed.

    It's not requiring FATEs that's the problem. It's requiring rare FATEs that you have to sit around waiting for. Waiting is NOT fun gameplay. SE should know this by now. Those adjustments should have been made already, as soon as there was a quest requiring them. It shouldn't need to wait until the following patch to fix something that's so obvious from the start.


    (I'm not even on Anima yet, so I'm not directly affected. But these are the sort of things that make me wonder what the devs were thinking.)

    1.)Its been addressed already and they're working on it

    2.) You don't have to do the FATE-related quests. You can even abandon them without losing your daily allowance.

    3.) There are so many avenues to get anima items that you don't even have to touch beast tribe quests at all.

    So why have you been waiting for one FATE for 6 days?

    You can do all four beast tribe dailies a day, and Vanu Vanu requires 18 tokens for one. Much better to do them in case.
