Hmmm let's see:
Final Fantasy XI: £8 per first char, £1 per extra - I'd happily pay this.
If the 12.99 euro rumour is correct, I'll be paying £11.32 per First char, and £2.60 per extra.

As Yoshida has said this game is 50% complete (to the standard of FF MMO's, -OR- the expected standard of current gen MMO's at release) why am I paying more for less?

Didn't he actually say "We are 50% of the way towards the Final Fantasy feel"?
