    In my former FC, we were so few crafters that I even had to BEG and incitate players to sign in a crafting guild, get a tool lvl 1 so they could help. Most of the times, I just wouldn't get any answer, as people were busy at something else or just didn't understand why they should be there at all.

    It should reworked in a way like crafters need to feed in the mats and processing the step as a single action and you can only feed in crafts you can craft with your actually equiped crafter.
    A rework that gave the other crafters a reason to be in the workshop and something to actually do would make me happy and I'm sure it would give our company's crafters a sense of accomplishment when each stage completes, which is something they don't get right now.
    I'd personally prefer this to removal, but then our company is lucky enough to have four or five crafters who are in-game most days.

    problem is people can craft all the turn ins themselves so no need to work with other people in the FC. one way to help fix this and get FC members to work together would be to make some of the turn ins specialist crafts only

    You mean like they already did for the moogle housing glamour? Much as I agree with Callback on this, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see more of these.

    Here's the problem I'm running into: Not everyone /wants/ to craft. They just don't like it, don't see it as important, see it as a waste of armory space(giving how limited it is), and so on. Whatever their reason, as a FC leader I should not be in the position to either beg or attempt to force, bribe, or otherwise manipulate my members into picking up a crafting class in order to further our company crafts. And even if I did, everyone has to meet the level of the item that they're turning in or else it can't be turned in by them. Outsiders can't turn it in for you either. Everyone in the fc, regardless of class, should be able to turn in mats. We get them from maps, dungeons, leves, just about everything. So if someone has the mats, why are they barred from turning it in just because they don't enjoy crafting? If everyone can contribute, they'd feel more helpful and be more willing to participate. As it stands, forced "cooperation" only breeds resentment. So many people already hate the company workshop as it is because it's so /forced/. Light parties shouldn't be required to proceed to the next step. I'd be less irritated if it was just there to /finish/ a craft, if it has to exist at all. But right now, this is unnecessary and not fun for anyone involved.

    Because square says so... is pretty much the reason for game rules for every game they make... It's a team activity, to be blunt.. just find a team to do it. There's over 5 million subscribed accounts. If your FC can't take a minute out of their day to progress something for the company, I think you're in the wrong company. Not trying to be mean, I just don't see SE changing this as it's a group activity, it's not a single person activity.

    But it isn't a team activity! That was my whole point. It's a single person activity that requires 3 spectators (who just happen to be crafters) and it's lame.

    I'm lucky, our FC has crafters and we are enjoying FC crafting a lot, but the design of this is severely lacking, and even with those keen crafters, I've noticed problems getting people to group up to do this.

    As to the suggestion of Specialist turn-ins, I really hope not. It's only going to exclude more people from content they might otherwise enjoy
