Oh and featherfoot if they cross class monk. I guess they could rotate storm path on all the mobs but that usually doesn't happen at the start of the pull since they're busy generating enmity. What more do you expect them to do? (Berzerk and Bloodbath share a cooldown so I assume they're already being used together.)

Level 46 WAR has at least...

    Bloodbath: 30s / 90s
    Thrill of battle: 20s / 120s
    Foresight: 20s / 90s
    Convalescence: 20s / 120s
    Inner Beast: few second duration
    (possibly Featherfoot 15s / 90s)

What more do I expect them to do? Nothing. I expect them to use the above skills, but many of them don't. The biggest offenders are definitely DRKs and I'm talking Heavensward content. When a tank is able to have a buff up over 70% of the time (the above WAR example, not counting in IB) but their buff uptime is 0-5%, it does make me wonder what's going on in their head. I can understand the total lack of cooldowns during the first few dungeons but not at 50+ dungeons and especially not in expert roulette. One cooldown per pull is all I'm asking for but some tanks want to spare everything for who knows what situation. I feel it's a very common problem nowadays, more so than aggro issues.

You are forgetting Vengeance. That is WAR's first and only big CD until Raw Intuition(56 I think..).

So yeah if you run into 46 wars, and never see what looks like bling bling mirrors surround them briefly, they aren't using it.

Also sometimes you have to use more than one of those in a pull.

Yeah I would say the newer WARs that just get Inner Beast sometimes struggle with not using that cooldown right away because at the same time they have to learn managing wrath stacks. As they don't have Infuriate skill yet so the IB cooldown isn't available anytime and that is a first for them. Also, not so out of the ordinary they are sitting at 5 wrath stacks all the time, or they are letting them fall off which is very bad. Sometimes I'll help them out and if I see they are sitting on those 5 stacks tell em to use IB in the pull. It'll jive, and they can take it from there.

Inner Beast is 20% mitigation, 300 potency attack and self-heals based on the damage it does. If they are in in current gear and going with a good of amount of STR the healer can notice a bit of a difference even in a small pull with just that CD alone. In the meantime they can pop Convo, Foresight, and use Bloodbath to self-heal while hitting things. But using IB as much as you can early on is a good practice to becoming a good warrior

Warrior cooldowns is why we can go practically full STR with good gear, play finesse mitigation and healers noticing the profound difference over a full-VIT one that doesn't use cooldowns.

Threads like this are bullshit, I'm sorry. There's shitty players in every role. A lvl 60 SMN using Titan in Pharos HM. A WHM in Neverreap that spam healed me to the point where I wanted to drop Grit and just start AoEing to drown out the constant Cure spam sound-effect-ringing and see if I could get my HP to drop below 14K. An OT WAR in Defiance in A4N trying to force me to turn Grit back on to keep hate from him (and failing).

Calling out an entire 3rd of the trinity system with no regard for the efforts of the plentiful capable players out there performing their jobs to the maximum comes off as really bitter. You sound like that healer I'd get in the dungeon DF that I'd get no comm from even after getting the group in and out in under 10 minutes, spending half of it with Grit off, flawless CD management, no unnecessary damage, no aggro loss, and nice big pulls for everyone's AoE pleasure.

I respect my healers and while I don't think tanking is the easiest job in the game by a damn sight, I definitely feel that healing is the hardest. But this Grumpy-Gus I-am-healer-hear-me-roar-get-off-my-lawn-scrub-tanks really just proves that said healer does not actually play with any skilled players, and to me casts doubt on the idea that they've been in any truly difficult content where this sort of inter-job-bigotry doesn't really happen.

From personal experience, tanks who lose aggro to healers are undergeared/inexperienced. I mean, I've seen plenty-a-healers overheals (I'm talking to you Medica II WHM spammers...) who just love to steal aggro for no reason and then complain about getting hit.

But for the most part, I think we just need to be more understanding that PuG's will 70% of the time group you with an undergeared noob. It's just SE RNG. Be nice!

I was called White Tank in a dungeon before (though everyone had to tank at some point)... was still a fun run.
