Questions about housing

Hi, were a pretty decent FC in ragnarok and want to migrate house to another place, but we still dont know how to do it exactly.
We want to change our medium uldah house to a Big mansion in Limsa, so please, once the new patch with the new plots appears ¿how do we do it?

Id like to know if we have to demolish first or buy and demolish later so we can designate new house, we have to wait or what do we have to do or choose as we do it.

We will like to know as well what are we losing ¿ship?¿Member rooms?¿furniture?

You'll need to remove all furniture from the house to be able to destroy the house and then relinquish the plot, before you can buy a new plot.
You'll lose all the rooms and the workshop.

That means if you cannot buy the new plot, your FC will lose its house. isnt it?

You also need to make sure everyone has their chocobos out of the stables, and everyone has all their furnishings out of their Private Quarters, or you won't be able to go through with the demolition (I believe you can kick people from the FC, and it will get rid of their private quarters automatically).

That means if you cannot buy the new plot, your FC will lose its house. isnt it?

That is correct. One very expensive option could be to have someone buy the new Large plot as a personal house, relinquish the land when the FC is ready, then have the FC re-buy the plot at full price.

They will eventually be introducing a Moving feature (at least 5 months down the line), that should fix some of these problems, but who knows if there will still be large plots available at that time.

Yeah need to kick then re invite just leave them a note to let them know. That's if their chocos are stabled.

Just wanted to also add if you have to kick someone from the FC (to demolish their room so you can demolish the house) they only have 35 days to come back online to get their items from the Housing NPC before they're lost forever.

Not that it's really your problem if you want to upgrade the house for the good of the FC, but definitely worth passing on to them if you can as they might not realise.

Yeah I would recommend that you start the process now. Get everyone notified. Organise inventory/retainer space for the furniture you want to take with you. Get as many rooms demolished and chocobos unstabled as you can. You don't want to be doing panicky things on the last day before patch (like kicking people out of the FC) if you can help it.

Also make sure your designated purchaser has all the necessary gil and don't relinquish your current plot until he/she is standing in front of the new one.
