From someone who has typically completed the hardest content in WoW when it was available, why the heck does it matter if people complete obsolete content by overleveling/overgearing it years later?

How does it effect your personal accomplishments and your personal gains? Is your happiness limited by how exclusive your accomplishments are? I would take a hard look at yourself. The majority of players do not care if people can easily power through old content when it becomes obsolete.

Why didn't I put two and two together. I remember Ramrod's infamous shouts in Mor Dhona before HW dropped. God, it was annoying. I'd take the Naul puns over that any day.

I would quit if they removed running content unsync.

Sync is the dumbest feature in any MMO I've ever played.

Half the fun in being high level is running old content and utterly destroying it.

Leave your elitism at the door because nobody would run that old content if it were synced.

I cleared coil 1-9 pre echo. I do NOT want to continue clearing it capped at level 50. When %90 of the player base can't even complete Ravana story mode or T9 unsync.

I REPRESENT A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE ON BALMUNG WHO HAVE REPEATEDLY EXPRESSED THE FOLLOWING:

1) UNSYNCING IS REPORTEDLY "BREAKING CONTENT" AS MANY PLAYERS CAN QUICKLY ACQUIRE ITEMS BY SIMPLY UNSYNCING. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT THE UNSYNC FUNCTION EXIST, FOR PLAYERS WHO SIMPLY WANT TO SEE THE GAME OR PUT "TRAINING-WHEELS" ON THE FIGHT, BUT THAT ITEMS/REWARDS/TITLES REMAIN FOR SYNC'D FIGHTS ONLY.

2) THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE A VERY DIFFICULT MODE FOR PLAYERS TO SPEND WEEKS, AND EVEN MONTHS, ASPIRING TO BEAT. GIVE THE GENERAL POPULATION A STORY MODE AND EVEN A HARD MODE BUT KEEP A VERY HARD MODE FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO BE THE FEW WHOM PRIDE THEMSELVES UPON HIGH-SKILL LEVELS, BRAGGING RIGHTS, AND POSSIBLY SPECIALIZED LOOT TO SYMBOLIZE SUCH ACHIEVEMENTS.

To be fair, Olivia has. One of the better Balmung Players. Or so I hear, anyway. I don't think I've been in anything with them since Levi EX was released.

This is so weird but I am sure I read your words at least a year ago when Coil was nerfed/DFed. I'm not being rude, it's just amazing how the same arguments are being had repeatedly without those complaining realising that it's cyclical & will always happen.

Elite players have their period of exclusivity when only the best can complete content. That period is the time to revel in your skill. Two years down the line it really doesn't matter. Or at least it shouldn't; if it does then you really need to review your priorities in life.
