DEAR SQUARE-ENIX AND YOSHI P:

I REPRESENT A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE ON BALMUNG WHO HAVE REPEATEDLY EXPRESSED THE FOLLOWING:

1) UNSYNCING IS REPORTEDLY "BREAKING CONTENT" AS MANY PLAYERS CAN QUICKLY ACQUIRE ITEMS BY SIMPLY UNSYNCING. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT THE UNSYNC FUNCTION EXIST, FOR PLAYERS WHO SIMPLY WANT TO SEE THE GAME OR PUT "TRAINING-WHEELS" ON THE FIGHT, BUT THAT ITEMS/REWARDS/TITLES REMAIN FOR SYNC'D FIGHTS ONLY.

2) THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE A VERY DIFFICULT MODE FOR PLAYERS TO SPEND WEEKS, AND EVEN MONTHS, ASPIRING TO BEAT. GIVE THE GENERAL POPULATION A STORY MODE AND EVEN A HARD MODE BUT KEEP A VERY HARD MODE FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO BE THE FEW WHOM PRIDE THEMSELVES UPON HIGH-SKILL LEVELS, BRAGGING RIGHTS, AND POSSIBLY SPECIALIZED LOOT TO SYMBOLIZE SUCH ACHIEVEMENTS.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK IN TRYING TO FIND A BALANCE IN OUR BELOVED FFXIV.

Look, im also angry that now primal items are cheap as dirt, but on the other hand, at least now you find the damn things without having to get into the trials yourself. One thing for the other.

I agree, Personally me and my static and many others have worked hard on clearing content and earning things such as ponies, clearing coil t1-t13 and acquiring items from these things at level 50. To see other players achieve every single thing that we did unsync'd like it's nothing is a slap to the face. Stuff like "titles" and "achievements" should only be given to people who earn them. Now you see everyone walking around with the final witness title and they didn't even experience the whole fight. huge slap to the face.......

It's not cheap elitism when players want everything to be fair. People shouldn't work hard to earn things then players who don't earn anything and just blow through it get the same trophies as the people who worked hard. It shouldn't work that way at all. Maybe for clears yeah, but not for achievements.

My FC friends and I took some friends who haven't subscribed in a long time through the entirety of coil on New Years and Played a drinking game over Teamspeak.

Rules were if you died you took a shot.
If either of the 2 new people died then everyone took a shot.

It was the most amazing fun. And we let them experience the story, since they were 1.0 players they really enjoyed it.

If they don't eventually nerf old and dated content... then we would not have been able to have such a good time.

I worked hard for my primal ponies too, but what is it to me if another person has better drop rates. I have had my Ponies for a very long time... the bragging rights have looooong since expired.

Achievements and Titles also are also "Drops". Only normal they crumble down under the pass of time and the weight of the powercreep hammer. Even braging rights have due date.
