Can we have it show on the sign outside of the house when a plot will become available? Have it only pop up maybe 3-5days prior to the house being reclaimed. Also, make it so that it is the server time the house has left, not real life time (since this would be subject to change due to maintenance or an outage).

So for recap, 3-5days prior to a house being reclaimed, have it show on the sign outside of that plot, the time left (server wise) until it is reclaimed.

I have mixed feelings about this idea. It would be good to give players a heads up so they don't have to frantically check every plot, every day, but I worry that a system like this would just lead to a recreation of Christmas '15, with a dozen players camped in front of a single house, all hoping to be the one to click fast enough the moment it becomes available.

exactly - this is not something that should ever be implemented for this very reason - there is no need for a mob of players trolling each other in front of a Placard very time a plot is set to expire
