Party voice chat in 2.0 Please :)

This isn't a big request, but it would be nice if parties had the option for voice chat in game without the need for third party tools...

And while the party could be made of several players from different regions and different languages, it wouldn't be required etc, just something option for parties to have, and use if they so choose.

Simple to introduce, would be great for PS3 players aswell as PC for easy party communication.

Should be very easy to turn off however.

I'd somewhat like to see this one step further, and have area transmission microphones like in all points bulletin and other games whereby you can hear the microphones of other people in the world as the come into close proximity with you, it can be very immersive and an amazing feature.

They said no they can't do this due to the fact of others from diff part of the world and wont understand each other and harassment and the fact that ps3 and pc can't talk to each other. Top of that most people would still use Vent,TS3.

Yes, there would be a language issue, but that is why it would be optional, and people would still use vent, but I'm talk about those who don't have that option or down want that option.

My thought is it would be isolated to party chat, and have to be enabled... Perhaps the tech exists today (like Siri) to translate into the chat log. That would be wild.

I think yoshi-p also said the same thing wow have this and no one really use it there no point in it. But i guess if enough people want it SE would add it i would not mad it but i still would use TS3.

What with addons being implemented in the future I hope SE allow us someway to add TS or Ventrilo controls via addons.

i don't get the language barrier thing. don't we have that already when i see japanese writing i have no idea what they are saying. but it don't hurt my game any. but as for the request itself. i think you should put this on that sticky thread for the new live letters from the producer. i think its a good idea

They said it was due JP and NA being in a party and JP not understanding what the NA players are saying i don't know why it just something they said to just skip the question.

In All points bulletin I hear tonnes of russian, I don't understand it and it doesn't bother me. It wouldn't be an issue if you had an option to blanket mute everyone, or just mute certain members of your party if you don't like their volume/cant understand them.

Generally people don't party outside of their own group of friends in my experience anyhow, or atleast, I get invited to a party by friends and get introduced to new ones, but on the whole I've never had the random party experience of FF11 where someone would just send you a tell asking to level.
