PC Steam version/ PS3 Question

Hi there I have the PC version of A realm Reborn and the Heavens Ward expansion paid for via Steam. From what I understand if I want to be able to play on PS3 as well I have to purchase the ps3 versions of the game and add them to my account via the Sony Store.

My question is this what happens if I just add the ps3 version of Realm Reborn with out Heavens Ward. would I still be able to play my lvl 60 and just not be able to access the new areas? or will I not be able to access my lvl 60 at all unless I add the ps3 version of Heavens Ward as well? I only ask because both A Realm Reborn and Heavens Ward are expensive to get both together so can only afford the first part of the game till a couple of days later.

You will not have access to HW content while on PS3.

If you log out in an ARR area on PC, you can log in on PS3 regardless of level or job. I don't know, however, whether you will be able to gain experience as a level 50+ on the PS3, until you get HW.

You will be able to access a level 60 character with ARR content only. You will not be able to level past 50 however.

Just make sure your character is logged out in like Limsa and you'll be fine.

Just one thing, if I remember correctly, if you play and log out in a HW area and decide to play on another device without HW, you will be unable to log in. I think this was mentioned before the launch, not sure if anything was done about this in the coming times. But the message was, go back to a ARR area before you log out.
