Copying FFXIV onto my new pc

I'm on windows 7 and got a new computer.

Can someone tell me which folders I need to copy onto a USB to transfer the game over?

File locations would be nice, since I'm unsure where all files are located or if I'll miss a folder.

    C:\Users\<USER NAME>\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

Contains all your character profiles--macroes, gui config, etc. This will need to be placed into the similar path on the new system, editing it to use the new user name if it is different.

The game will be installed along this path by default:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

If you are installing the base first and then just copying over (will save a LOT of update time), the file paths will be set up for you, otherwise you will need to create them appropriately first and open regedit to export/import the full registry key here:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SquareEnix

To save you some time with transferring your settings and UI over, there's an application in the game folder called "ffxivconfig.exe", run it on your current computer and select "Backup", then save the created file "FFXIVconf.fea" into your USB. Once you done copying your game folder into your new computer, run "ffxivconfig.exe" from there again and select "Restore" this time, select the "FFXIVconf.fea" again and the application will copy your UI setting to your new computer.

Note your UI/hotbar position might be way off if your new computer has a different resolution.
