(After all, the artbook stated that the Chrysalis was actually a dimension formed from the memories of the Ascians and wasn't a 'real' place at all, so, I don't know, maybe there is more to that than meets the eye.
Well I thought the same; the shot is too brief, and the "statue" is cast in a lot of shadow, but at the same time it does bear a significant resemblance and was likely there for sharp-eyed players to notice.

Interesting that the Chrysalis is formed from the memories of the Ascians. I always figured it was a pocket dimension, not a real place, but being created from the Ascians' memory is very interesting...
