Chemist job - Alchemical healing and support

    Name: Chemist
    Weapon: Pistol
    Role: Healer (+support)
    Armor: Light (or light-medium)
    Origin: Garlemald

The second of several job suggestion concepts I thought of while working on the concept for a suggestion for the gunblade using job Soldier, the Chemist is based on the Garlean Empire's use of alchemical concoctions to boost the effectiveness of officers in combat, or provide healing effects. Many a time have I seen a Garlean soldier in the game use an item-based ability like "Vitalis" to provide regeneration, "Fortis" to provide a damage boost, or "Celeris" to provide haste. I've also seen a friendly NPC of Garlean origin use "Aqua Vitae" to heal. Who makes these items for the soldiers, and could someone trained in their production ever apply the practice directly in combat? That's where this job suggestion concept comes from.

This would be the first healer role job that wouldn't use magic directly in its abilities, as it would instead base them off alchemical concoctions used to benefit the self and allies, or hinder enemies. As for the job's weapon, my idea came from some versions of the Chemist job using guns, and the fact that the Garlean Empire is known to have firearms technology that they extensively use.

I figure that not only can this job use its abilities to heal and benefit itself and allies, but it can also use them to hinder enemies. The job would not only be able to heal and provide effects like regeneration or damage resistance to allies, but also be able to throw or shoot concoctions and poisons at enemies to apply debuffs or DoTs. This would make the job not only a healer, but also a support job.
