Paissa dolls & other furniture disappearing randomly

Steps:

I started placing Paissa dolls inside my house, trying to make ordered columns of them.
After about 50 or so, they, and other housing items in the same vicinity, started visually disappearing at random.

I don't have occlusion culling turned on or any of the "handicap for better performance" options apart from low detail on shadows.
