I don`t know how to go with progress anymore.

Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read this.

During old and better times if i may, crafting was simple and its progression was far more friendlier, there wasn`t much speculation about it nor worries about an uncertain future, and of course the stakes weren`t as high as they are these days where any upgrade consumes millions upon millions of your beloved coin. My issue here is, that red-scrip system literally killed it for me, and while this months since HW launch have been the most profitable in my life as crafter in this game, it weirdly happens that is the first time i feel like im not progressing towards anything better and im plainly and simply stuck.

Right now my best crafter, my BSM sits at the next stats:

    776 Crafting.
    688 Control.
    389 CP.
    i180 Main Hand.
    i170 HQ off-hand.
Full "White" Set (chimera stuff and i130~i150 accesories)

The rest of my crafters are the same just with regular adamantite tools. Been doing red scrips for the most part as "progress" and now, after losing/skipping a few weeks, i have 118 of them sitting there.

And my specialist are CRP, BSM and LTW (don`t ask me why LTW, i just like him a lot ok? even if it sucks for the most part...)

So the question: Where do i go from here? I know i could takle this in several ways.
A big upgrade for example would be to get the astral accesories, in my server that takes, for me since i can`t craft most of the stuff myself, arround 20 million gil (being very possitive with the melds).
Another possibility is to invest the red scrips on gear for the BSM and use the BSM to open up the rest of my crafters, including the CRP to get the accesories myself (most of them at least) and short the expenses a bit.

Anything else is a mix of the two. And at this stage of the patch and with the uncertainties of the future (possibilities of new catching up gear, new omnicrafting gear, no new gear at all who knows) taking a dive to gear up isn`t as easy... Now, gil is not used on anything else anyways so............ What do you guys suggest or would do in my place?

I'm new to end-game crafting so this is probably less useful than many of the experienced types, but something seems off (or I'm about to waste a ton of favor mats tomorrow)

    1) The stats sound off, to me. I'm sitting at 721 craft, 674 control, 396 CP, without food. on full white and the 140/150 MH/OH. I'd have thought you'd have roughly 50 control and 80 craft more than me. That seems to imply that your white set is only partially melded? If so that's an place to squeeze out some more stats that can be shared across classes?

    2) You say you can't craft the astral accessories. Sounds like with control food you should be capable to start bootstrapping yourself?

I've been gathering mats/favors/etc to work on the 2-star offhands for several classes tomorrow. Then the body next week, and the MH the following week. (And haven't melded MH/OH/Body on the white set as a result). After that I have to see if we have any insight into what 3.2 requirements will be...

Yeah, my white set is only partially melded, i don`t see myself investing so much on materias for a set of accesories that might ultimately replace later. And yeah, a control food should do for the control requirements, tho my CP still kinda low.

Also, now that you mention it, i don`t gather at all, i absolutely despise gathering so i can`t really get the red scrip materials by myself. Reason why i have so many red scrips sitting arround.

I would meld your current gear. The materia is easily gained through sb, airship venture, and diadem.

Use your scrips to get the sets of 15 mats. Make any HQ ingots you need, and sell any extra HQ or leftover mats. Use the extra gil to make back what you lost buying the ooids. Then make the crp OH when you can, this will allow you to make the astral birch and the il170 acc. These do require melding, but you do not need Tier V and can farm your own. With these your CP should be much better. Then make any additional OH you can with your bsm and crp. This will allow you to then craft 2 star with those classes as well. From there it is just making and selling mats to support your buying of the gathering mats.

Since the gathering mats now give you 15 crafting mats, you should be able to sell some to pay for what you use. Not sure about your server, but they go for about 100k a piece on my server and it costs about 1mil to get gathering mats for 15. That's 500k profit just from buying and turning them into red scrip mats or a free set of mats for your use each time.

So control on my hallowed accesories since i think im a "good" with that much craftmanship. With BSM i craft CRP and LTW tools and after that it opens my chances on other areas...

Your control and cp are not that far to craft 2 star. if you can get to 695 control and 398 cp or more then you good to go. i would skip getting astral accessories first. I suggest you get the MH, OH and body piece first.

It was suggested that he go with the accessories first in order to meld them, and boost the CP.

Personally, I'm getting all the i180 MH tools then I'm making i170 OH tools and gear from each class as I go along. MAde the i170 BSM OH already, need to get the i170 LTW and then start making LTW crafts. Then I'll pick another (CRP perhaps) and make its i170 then it's crafts. And so on. The idea being that each class I pick will provide a boost to the stats in the classes to come, to make producing HQ gear easier.

The only thing holding me up right now is getting i180 gathering gear. I've got about 4 more weeks worth to get before I'm finished with that stuff, then I'll be hitting the Favors hard to produce the gear.
