    I agree, and am looking forward to more information on the mentor program, but this post is about more then just a DPS meter, it's about adding in more stats to the content of the game and trying to do it in a fun way.

    This would be a solution for that would take away the need for any meter (for the most part) and hopefully encourage good play, with the right balancing and rewards. But like any system if not adjusted correctly, could cause more harm then good.

    Implement more hard DPS checks in dungeons.
    The gauntlet in Amdapor Keep HM after the second boss was a good example - You got this short time to kill the the trash waves before the walls finish you off.

    SE is using far too much soft DPS checks these days.

    that stuff don't work in mmo though, your idea is already in dcuo and on the ps3 people took it and pretty play'ed solo in a group to top charts. Your idea has also been proposed in 20 other threads, what you are asking is for a meter and leader board. Those in reality do nothing to help teach players, most of that data comes from gear vs content.

    I would like to see the NA community have less focus on individual players on who is or isn't being "carried" and more group focus. How can you use your skill to aid the group, instead of how can i use my skills to increase my damage.

    Even as a non-raider, I don't think this is a bad idea. Just the numbers/grade by themselves would need to be backed up by some sort of training such that those on the lower end of the scale could work on improving (and we're supposed to be getting some sort of training hall soon).

    Definitely like this idea, maybe you receive a bonus EXP reward for your rank S to D. This would definitely encourage better rotation and awareness of your class' utility.
    The rank rewards could simply be based on a recorded median graph of the dungeons' runs, they already have algorithms in place for FATE difficulty so I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult.

    I think the OP's idea is great. With rankings and the possibility of prizes, people will actually want to do older dungeons providing they give something unique. Then maybe SE will stop forcing us to go back to old content with every new patch.
