Why is Heavensturn Always So Terrible?

Last year, we had the sheep that we were using for inhumane purposes and we did it for a prolonged period of time. This year, it's do 1 FATE, which is impossible to do without mages or ranged attackers due to the opo opos staying within the AOE right next to the cyclops and the AOE puts stun and sleep on you and kills you in 2 hits. This FATE is incredibly short sighted in that unless you have a mage or ranged class, you can't do anything.

SE, this was worse than the 2015 Moonfire Faire was and considering how bad Heavensturn has been overall, I hate to see what happens with this event next year, when you pull out the Cocks. (Cocks are the animal for the 2017 Chinese New Year)

I did the FATE solo as a Ninja... It was incredibly easy actually.

As for the events themselves? Yeah, Heavensturn is an event I never look forward to. The rewards are lame, the storyline is poor, the music is good at least. I'd have to assume it's due to it coming right after the Christmas event, so it's rushed.

Uh, the Opo-opos die in like two hits from any ranged attack. I murdered a bunch with Piercing Talon. If you're a monk, then you either have to engage them in melee (again, they should die in 1-2 hits) or you have to wait for other people to kill them (they typically do, I know myself and a few others hung around and killed them for other people even after we handed in our items).

The rewards are lame

I like the housing items myself, although, not set up like that. Your FC mate's are creative that's for sure.

Repeat them? They could always design the helmets differently.

Regardless, I don't see the game lasting 12 years, at least not 12 years of active development before Yoshida moves onto FFXVII Online or whatever.

I've never really been excited for Heavensturn either. I think I completely skipped it last year. I may end up doing the same this year, as the kabutos just take up space and aren't usually able to be stored in the Armoire right away.

You can store items from events in the Armoire straight away now actually, was mentioned in 3.1's patch notes I believe. Stored the monkey butt helmets there already.
