PS3/PS4 Password "Remember" Option for those who want it

Since we first installed FFXIV on our PS3, and now on the PS4, my wife has asked almost every time for the ability to have the system remember her login so she won't have to type it in with the game pad each time. It would be awesome for console gamers to be able to have this option since we are already logging in with our PSN before logging into FFXIV (we auto login to PSN, btw)...

Anyway, just a simple request, and an option, not that everyone would need to use it.

I think there needs to be a remember password for those people who log on using a software token. It's not like someone is going to know the software token password even if they somehow got hold of the password. I don't even see the point in a password whilst using a software token.

I'd even be happy with an option to see my password as I type it in. I live alone; I don't worry about someone reading the letters over my shoulder.

Not possible because the launcher is techically nothing but a webpage. PS3/PS4/IE always hide the the input when input type is set to password. It's not something SE can really help with.
