Suggestion: Make new jobs 60 on certain conditions

    Hello S-E team and readers,

for the next 4.0 expansion there will be those who have attained Lv. 60 on most, if not all jobs pertaining to DoW/M and DoL and attaining such a feat is no small task as it requires a huge investment of one's time and for some jobs a huge investment economically (towards Gil) so I suggest make the next jobs Lv. 60 for those who have at least three or more Lv. 60 jobs, specifically that in a DPS, Tank and Healer role.

Here's my logic behind this; players will have a more open understanding of how to utilize these diverse jobs and for those who most likely mastered the others the repetitiveness of leveling the new jobs will feel monotonous on some and burdensome to others.
Furthermore, the leveling cap for 60 is higher than leveling a new job than that of 2.x series (Lv. 1 - 50) and it's easy to speculate that the reaching from 60 - 61 alone in the next expansion will be a daunting effort, requiring at least 2 MIL exp extra to level.
Also, with the new Training Tower coming 3.2 mentioned at the Live Letter prior to the release of this post players will already have a better understanding on how to utilize their rotations and can use said training to understand their new jobs if they choose to go the route.

If this method is chosen to be executed I suggest offering a one-time boost, at least, to those who've purchased Heavensward and the new 4.0 expansion so not only players get what they want but your respecting the time and accomplishment of players who've reached such high goals.

With that being said I'd love to hear some feedback or at least this to be taken into some consideration - thanks for your time.

Honestly them making the three new jobs at level 30 was a bit of a huge mistake. I've seen dark knights without provoke, machinsts without quelling (Needed when they're better geared than a tank), and astros WITHOUT protect and swiftcast. I honestly want them to make it 'Class starts at X level, but you're required to have X class(es) at level Y'

I LOVE leveling the classes up from the start so I can slowly learn how the class works (Working on getting my final combat class to 60 right now). When the new jobs came out, I purposely went into the level 15-20 dungeons so I could learn the class from the low levels up, and a lot of players who just jump from say...only tanking in 2.X content to Astro, I've met people who have said 'Ugh I don't wanna get Protect/Stoneskin/swiftcast, I only wanna play this cause it looks cool'. It causes headaches, and people just look like they're bashing their faces on the keyboard.

    No support for this idea.

Having classes start from 60 would mean if people were to make use of such a thing, they would have no idea on what ANY of their skills are, what cross classes they would need, and hell most people barely took the time to learn properly when the newer ones were introduced at 30.

In regards to Bacent's post, I'm in agreement in the fact that if the new classes did not start at 1, then they should start somewhere in the level 15 range. Lets face it, it was during that point you began to get the proper feel for the class, not to mention each new dungeon past that point would let you learn bit by bit.

Starting right from 60 just sounds like someone being lazy that does not want to put any effort into trying a new class and just wants it handed to them.

For the record. Getting to level 60 is not hard in the slightest. Getting multiple jobs to 60 is equally not hard. I have a 9-5 job, and I got every DoM/DoW job to 60 in just over three months. There is no need to auto-start at 60 for any job...ever.

How about making leveling up a bit easier? Less experience required to level up

Creating new Tank & Healer only "No DPS" classes to even the odds

Do something about long waiting times for DPS classes?
