Suggestions for in-game policies and services.

    1) Would like to be able to block and/or place other players in the Duty Finder at all times in the Blacklist.

Of Blocked players, you must no longer be able to see: their text, (say/yell/ tell/shout), but also their emotes, and the text of that emote.

Players that are blocked by you must no longer be able to see of you; your text, emotes and text of those emotes, stats, what you're wearing, and most importantly, 'View Search Info'.

    2) Would like all Glamour Catalysts for sale in the Mogstation so to give everyone a chance to enjoy them, as they do represent a mini-game of their own.

Also would like to see an option to choose, 'Glamour visible for owner only'. You see the glamour equipment, other players see the actual equipment.

    3) Would like the Mogstation to be implemented into the game to effectively compete on the Market Board, among other things mostly.

For instance, the Mogstation could sell the Glamour Catalysts among other things right next to the crafted ones on the Market Board, so buyers could decide for themselves to pay with Gil, or real money.

    4) Would like to see the Vote Dismiss reduced to "AFK" only.

To be more precise; Only when a player's status has ("actually"), changed to 'AFK', or 'Disconnected', can that player be dismissed.
The time for when the status, 'AFK/disconnected' appears, should be shortened to 5 minutes.

It is my reason to believe that at no time can/may another person decide ones gaming experience and/or pleasure, for the sole reason of how one plays, and/or what equipment one is wearing, and/or how one's character looks like.

5)Would really like to see a "New game+" feature.

Play the entire game from the beginning with current level, equipment, and items from previous safe. All MSQ, Class/job quests, side quest, with exp. from the beginning.
That way players can level up in a normal way namely, playing through the story.

It is known that never in it's existence did any Final Fantasy game had New game+, but FFXIV isn't just any FF game. So, I beg to differ.

    6) If you really want to improve your policy, please (re)consider making all equipment in the game Dyeable.
It really is no fun when you are not able to dye your most favorite piece of equipment.

You say: "I do NOT want to see a mage in heavy armor, or a knight in mage clothes."
Still, I would like to see the class/job glamour restrictions lifted.

If all glamour would be visible for the owner only, and all glamour class/job restrictions lifted, you would not have to worry about mages in heavy armor, or knights in mage clothes, cause everyone sees the actual equipment.

Everyone would be able to glamour to their heart's content, without having to worry about other players seeing inappropiate settings.

    7) Please reconsider for all new FFXIV accounts to only be able to send a tell/yell/shout from lvl 7 and up.

The reason why I propose from lvl 7 is, that it takes a while to reach lvl 7, but not too long. Still, long enough for some players that have whole other ideas for those channels to leave them for what they are.

    8) In order to offer something to quell long waiting times for the Duty Finder, and some more gil for players that aren't too much in with crafting, mining and such, I would like to propose a service for FC and/or GC members in a way of shall we say, "A Jack of all Trades", "freelance", or "sellsword".

It would work in about the same way as the Duty Finder/Party Finder combined with Duty Roulette. So one and another can simply be combined.

An example; A player wants to do certain content, but has to wait quite a while for other players.

After shall we say, 5 minutes waiting, the DF/PF starts to go searching through the list of players that have signed into the Sellsword service.
Sellsword then forms a party together with the player who signed in for the content, in be on their way in the shortest time.

After the duty is complete, the player who signed in for the content can progress through the story, while all other Sellsword participants receive a considerable amount of Gil for their services.
Sellsword would only perceive in Gil, NO exp., cards, rewards of any kind, as to not rend the DF/PF completely absolute.

This is only an example of an extra service. More gil for advanced players, and maybe shorter waiting times for more new players.
This example serves in place for the Chocobo races where NPCs play with you when other players aren't around.

But it would be best if players could simply play content with their own preformed parties consisting of their Retainers, when other players are not around.

If the Retainers are retrofitted with an advanced Final Fantasy XII Gambit system, they would be in full control of how their parties would act, perform, and look like.

    Thank you.

Absolute no to the first to, thanks. I mean...why? Literally takes like two seconds to gather the mats and make one.
If you REALLY don't want to spend the gil people price it at (which can be ridiculous) just gather the level 20 mats and a blank prism and /sh for someone to make one quick for you. Easy.

    The second one.
No, because there are a lot of reasons why Vote Dismiss is good. Does it get abused? Of course it does. Personally I've never dismissed someone for the reasons you listed, but I HAVE dismissed someone for calling me names/racial slurs/other swear words and from effectively halting party progress with misconduct (pulling a whole area and purposely getting the party killed, repeated pulling of a boss when no one is near the room or ready, etc). I do not wish to play with those people and as a last resort before leaving myself, a Vote Dismiss is a good option.

    EDIT
I guess I also disagree with your "glamour only visible to the owner" thing. I love seeing others glamour. What's the point if others can't see your glamour????

The rest I have no real leanings for or against.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
    Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME

I could see adding a in game UI for the mogstation so people could buy items from within the game itself but nothing outside of that. Really selling glamour catalysts on the mogstation? That is a horrid idea they are for the most part cheap as dirt to produce so there is no reason to actually charge real money for them. Hmm also a New Game + would not really work in well a MMO, generally New Game +'s are accessible after finishing a games main story and in the case of MMO's the story is always progressing with every new patch there is really no reason to implement such a feature. I can see the reasoning for some of these suggestions but for others it's just like wow did you really think that through completely.
