World Transfer to Cerberus Server - Advice?

I've been looking for some help in order to transfer my character from the Zodiark server onto Cerberus or Phoenix due to personal reasons. However, I've come across a few snags along the way - mainly that I've been playing for quite a while and as a result I've accumulated more than the 1 million gil transfer limit.

In a nutshell I've asked what items to buy in order to help make my gil back. I realise this depends on a servers' economy and what's currently in demand, so I'd really appreciate it if folk can let me know what people are clamouring for here on Cerberus so I can make back some of my coin.

I'm still looking at servers under the Chaos Data Centre, but it would be nice to be welcomed into your server community. Thanks for any help in advance!

You could make an alt on Cerberus to check?

That is what I did back in the day and it was materia I bought a lot of back then!

Easiest is to buy the allagan tokens and clear demimateria that you can just NPC sell to get the gil back.

Glamours always sell... I cannot compare to your server but they do on our server depending on item very well. Through housing reclamation a few housing items sold well last days but its going back to normal business.
Materials that drop from maps are currently not worth looking at. Due to relic people grind them and sell the sidedrop dirt cheap.
Some minions like Ifrit; Tapir; Mindflayer; Gestahl; Opo Opo have a decent prize as well....

But yea with out comparison cannot help you. As stated above make an alt and to be safe invest a part in 1:1 resell items.

Thanks for the help! I'm on an entry level subscription and believed I could only have the one character, but now I realise I can actually create additional ones on extra worlds. I wasn't aware, but still, I figure it easier to simply ask players from the server such as yourselves. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep it in mind.

Is Cerberus a crowded or quiet server? How are the players on there generally? Any little bit of information can help me decide on my new home. Thanks again for the speedy replies.

Honestly where we are at now most servers are dead until 3.2 hits, its the same as always 2-3 months after a new end-game raid it quiets down, but yeah Cerberus is as good as any other server I'd imagine!

Cerberus is pretty crowded during afternoon and evening.

Cerby isn't empty or dead by any strech of the imagination. Though it does have it's quiet periods and quiet areas - you can usually find something to do.
