Poetics?

Did something change with poetics? I did a main story dungeon last night as I'm leveling SCH and find them easy and good exp. 3 people were all like "I'm here for the poetics" and others were saying "yeah same now that they are relevant again." How are they relevant? I can't find anything online that mentions poetics in the past few weeks at all.

They're used for the relic weapon items. One of the nice things the relic quest did was make people break their legs joining clear parties now.

I saw Raidgroups giving away full coil/ex primal runs to anyone for free just to get the 100 bonus. (joined them too because I wanted to see the story and nobody ever wanted to join a T11-13 train/killgroup)

Relic grind. You have to buy 20 of two items with Poetics, and they're about 680 a piece. The alternative is running Alexander.

Yep, we have entire FCs and LSs doing this. And, to be fair, it's a great idea.

I understand its need for Coil. Good luck even getting a learning party nowadays. PF doesn't fill up and DF takes forever to pop, if it pops at all, and, well, good luck learning Turn 9 and 13 in DF.

You can have 4 friends go with you and teaching you, but that's still essentially the same as a carry.

Is doing something for someone without any thought of reward not the definition of "nice?"

It's something that everyone should strive for.

Because for some reason many people seem to think that wanting compensation for your time makes you evil or something.
