Qarn Hard help with the last boss

Hi guys, I'm a pally and I'm doing my relic questline.... but then I decided to solo Sunken temple Hard xD I killed almost everything except the boss e.e
Do you guys have any advice to kill that boss... it's just like... I stun his first and second tether that give us the debuffs, but I can't kill him using my ilv 170 weapon before the third one and then I die... so.. tips?

You only need to equip the 170 weapon when you exit the dungeon. You can kill the bosses with 200+

wow, really? that a really good thing to know, Ty, I thought we need to kill the last boss with it... that makes this task much simpler.

As long as you equip the weapon as you exit you get credit for it. And yea it should be much easier that way

It might have been the healer too...

The tethers only give you a debuff that turns you into a mummy at 4 stacks. Pretty sure your def is lowered in that state, but it hardly matters because the boss will ignore the mummies and go for your other teammates. It's basically a mechanic that forces other players to paper tank briefly while you are incapacitated. So, if you're dying it's probably because the healer isn't keeping up with the increase in Dmg during that time. That's not you. It's also not your weapon. It's the healer.

Technically, you can get through that fight without using a single stun as long as the healer isn't sleeping and the rest of the Dps aren't doing something dumb like feeding themselves to the mummies. Extra mummifications will troll the healer, so just keep your camera on a swivel for those mummy pop ups and move accordingly and you should be fine.

Congrats! I find it easy to solo most of the 50 and lower dungeons as SCH but I guess PLD is just a good. Good luck with rest of relic!

It's not that difficult... the problem was that damn debuff. the cactuar empress battle was quite nice xD I was worried about that one when her minion uses cover and she starts casting 100000 needles... #sad... even cactuars have a cover that works on magic damage and we PLD don't...
