They announced plans for an apartment system that supports 520 players last week. Unfortunatley it will take some time until it's implemented (update 3.3. if I am not mistaken).

Yeah were getting a few housing updates in 3.3. Mainly more wards and the apartment system. Then I can remember correctly if someone could help out, but Ishgard will be 3.3 or 3.4?

They said that we're getting new plots in 3.3, for the existing wards. Whether that is ward 9 and up, or an extra set of Subdivisions, I don't know.

Beyond that, they said they're working on "mansions" (confusing name, since it sounds more like it'll be apartments) and an Ishgard housing area in parallel, though "mansions" takes priority since it sounds like it'll meet demand better.

Yeah and the hard facts of what this space will involve has been ZERO. All we know for sure is that it will have no outside space since they have to redo gardening system to allow it inside these instances. We could very well be looking at Free Company rooms. Without the Free Company. Does that sound reasonable to you? Anytime SE has not given info usually means the news is bad.
