I know housing is impossible to get but how does one know what plots are going to be demolished soon? I hear people saying they are camping out but how do they know where to be?

People who really wanted to get a house on the first demolition day didnt just stand in front of any house, hoping to be successful. They spent a lot of time in the last weeks to figure out, which houses will propably get opened. They started to observe houses. For example, if you never see the owner going in and out and if you find a christmas tree in november in his house, you can trust in, that the owner hasnt been there for months. Then you can take a look on the community page on the ffxiv homepage and if you see, the owner is still lvl 50 for example, you nearly have a guarantee, that this house will be available soon. The people, which were waiting in front of this houses were more successfull on 12.25. then the other ones, standing at the aetheryte, because they lost time.
