The simple answer is you don't know when houses are going to be demolished, with the exception being the first batch of demolitions that occurred roughly 45 days after patch 3.1 was implemented.

You can check plot availability in each major city Aetheryte, Residential District Aethernet (you need to have unlocked residential districts for that area first).

Thanks! Didn't realize I could just use the main Atheryte so that makes it better...but of course no Small plots. Guess I will check daily and hope something opens up!
