-Hate-
These kinds of people. Most of the time they have it attached to one of those annoying ping sounds.

The constant "huaa! aaah! uuuuh!" when using any sort of melee skills is just as annoying.
The main reason why I stick to casters. Unless hit, they are quiet.
When I have one of them bards in my group, I stand as far away from it as possible.
(super serious)I don't know what to put here so I've put this here as a placeholder until I figure it out.(super serious)
Recruitment code if you are starting out: FTB8JBQ5

After so many hours your brain filters the sounds automatically.
It's when you rarely play melee/bard that you notice it.
I always notice it when I'm playing my tank alts and I wish there was an option to shut my kitty up.
In WoW it was easy, I just modified the game files and replaced sounds with empty ones.
Oh and hello Asny!![]()
How do you turn off the damage numbers? I'd love to do this O.O

(Going from memory here since I'm not near the game.) In the character options menu. I think it's the second tab downwards, then second tab over. It's "display flying text" I believe. Note, this doesn't just turn off damage numbers, but also floating text pertaining to skills activating on or coming off of a target....
