The only thing DF has trouble with in EX primals is Ramuh EX. Thordan EX will not be as hard for DF to clear as Ramuh imo, so it should be easier for people to clear in DF.

For the majority of players this represents probably about 2/3rds if not all of their play time.

Also, a lot of your post seems to assume you have access to some individuals already. For those of us on right about now, that's a bit harder to manage.

Read what I said. The 2 hours was off peak time. I guess I didn't make it clear, but what I meant is if you're recruiting at off peak times, I don't think 2 hours is that long of a wait. If you can only manage off peak times, then you're going to need to accept the fact that recruitments are going to take a lot longer than normal. But luckily you can do stuff like crafting and FATEs and Triple Triad while waiting or just AFK.

And I said that having friends that can join with you helps shorten the wait time, but it's not needed. If you really can't get any friends to come join your learning party, you're going to have to wait longer. But if it's a learning party, even your friends who have not cleared the content should be alright to join as well as those of your friends that have already cleared the content.

This is what you don't do as those are the people who wipe the "clear" parties the most. Not to mention RNG patterns with towers, tether, and skyward leap mechanics. A video watch doesn't mean you'll have the fight mirrored down, not even one clear is usually enough to say farm level.

While I agree with this whatching one or two with your class POV does help to get an idea how you could/should handle certein mechanics.

To the OP on Shiva it's the same Thordan partys got really rare, it's the same like it was with Bismarck and Ravana if you don't beat it in the first rush it's fairly hard to get a decent group (I have yet to find one that can get past meteors )

idk why this is like this, i guess its a WoW thing?? -shrug- ff11 didn't really have issues on my server with content. wjen i played WoW most pt i saw was farm groups needing to link the achievment.

Best thing to do in these situations is to make a temporary Linkshell yourself for the people. Sometimes people need to leave party to do their own thing. Invite the people who join party, kick people from linkshell if they say they can't make it. After the party just disband the linkshell.

Why can't you go in to learn? Make a learning party in Party Finder. You're on Gilgamesh, isn't it meant to be an active server? If my server has less people that yours but can easily make learning parties for Thordan EX, it means yours can as well.

Wow look at this person here.. Making a learning party has a chance of filling up...almost neigh impossible.

And not everyone has friends(especially in this game) or dependable friends(especially in this game) you're often on your own(especially in this game). AKA you're not taking things into consideration. And linkshell peeps don't always help either, they are no different from FCs.
