Extreme confusion

I'm going to try to be very straight forward with this question.

I recently bought Final fantasy 14 a realm reborn/Heavensward for Playstation 4.

I logged on and made a character. I really did not enjoy playing the game with the controller so I want to switch to the PC version of the game.

So how do I buy final fantasy 14 a Realm reborn/Heavensward on the PC so I can transfer my characters from the Playstation 4 version to the PC version of it.

If at all possible I would like to access all my characters across all platforms but I do not know if that is possible?

I believe it is very possible though I'm afraid I don't know the details being an only PC player. I know a couple of people who play on both console and PC on the same character.

From what I understand yes you can - you just need to register the serial code for the PC version of the game and expansion to your existing account on the Mogstation, and from then on you will be able to access either version of the game with the same characters.

Here I own ps4 an pc version my dear,
simple once you have your SE account you all set so if you log in ps4 you good, just buy the pc version an register with Mogstation an you on the right way.
Use the same login information from ps4 to pc.

If it's your only reason to change to the PC version; do you know that you can also play with a keyboard and a mouse on PS4 ?

It is a little different using a kb and mouse on a ps4. I've tried that before, and it isn't compatible with some of the keyboards. Most basic keyboard works, but my corsair k70 had to go through a little bit of adjustments before it can work. Moreover, my naga keys will not work with the ps4. No disagreement, but just giving more information.

Thanks for all the great responses! They are very much appreciated <3 Yes I understand I can use a kb and mouse with a ps4 it is just very uncomfortable playing on the couch like that. Order online, buy retail, steam (VPN maybe needed if online purchasing is region locked - which should be).
You only need the serial code for the PC license to add to your existing SE account (which has the PS4 license currently).

No transfer is needed. You just register the serial code to your existing SE account.
In game character is linked to your SE account, not platform.

You will access all characters currently made under your SE account, including PS3/PS4/PC if those licenses are registered.
